Olivia Putman

Olivia Putman is a French designer. She was appointed by her mother Andrée Putman head of design of the eponymous studio. Her works range from interior architecture to scenography and design. She defines the vocation of design as giving to objects “a kind of timelessness” as well as “additional sensitivity”.

In 2007, Olivia directs the renovation of the Morgans Hotel in New York that made her mother famous twenty-five years ealier. In 2011, she was appointed Artistic Director of the Lalique House, while continuing her activity in the Studio Putman. On the occasion of the 2014 edition of the French May event in Hong Kong, she signs two retrospective exhibitions dedicated to creations of Studio Putman.
