Parcours AD 2021

Ecart International  is proud to announce the creation of the Nabucco sofa, the Wolf armchair and the Reiko screen designed by Laurent Maugoust and Cécile Chenais.

They sign with four hands for the Ecart International editions the collection “Chimeres”, free interpretation of the imaginary that they associate with the history of this house. The duo of designers returns to the origins of their inspiration by displaying a sculptural will in the making of the pieces they unveil.

They bring together the rusticity of the iconic woolen skin with the depth of lacquer, the sophisticated fall of a leather box with the roughness of a linen cloth. They create custom-made pieces with clean lines, radical and graphic aesthetics in which their demanding style shines through.
